There’s something special about a sunrise on the beach at Grand Velas Los Cabos. The soft pink and orange hues painting the sky, the gentle sounds of the waves, and the first light of the day illuminating two people in love - it’s pure magic.
Paige and Neil’s love story began long before this day. They met in high school, and while their journey has been anything but simple, every twist and turn has brought them to where they are today. Now, on their honeymoon, these two are closer than ever, sharing a love that’s both playful and deep, adventurous and intimate.
For their honeymoon photoshoot, Paige and Neil wanted more than just beautiful pictures - they wanted to capture how they felt. “We want to look back on these photos 10 years from now and remember exactly how happy we were on our honeymoon. We want to remember that we’re not just partners - we’re best friends who are completely in love,” Paige told us.
A Fun and Intimate Session
As the first light kissed the beach at Grand Velas, we started the session. Neil wasn’t the most comfortable in front of the camera at first (which is totally normal!), so we broke the ice with a few fun, casual shots. The way Paige smiled at him, the way he squeezed her hand — it was clear that these two are each other’s safe space.
Before long, the nerves melted away. Paige and Neil’s playful personalities started to come through as they laughed, cuddled, and enjoyed every moment. They weren’t afraid to get a little sandy, wet, or even a little dirty to capture some truly adventurous photos. These candid moments. Neil lifting Paige as the waves splashed at their feet, the two of them lying in the sand, laughing as the sunrise painted the sky - showed not just their love, but their friendship and their connection.
Because they were comfortable with each other (and the camera), we were able to capture intimate moments full of love and joy. Public displays of affection? They were totally on board, and it added a romantic, dreamy feel to the entire session.
