Los Cabos family photography

When families meet after quite some time without seeing each other, it is a beautiful moment. Old faces become familiar and the memories come flooding back into the forefront of our conscious memory. Sally wrote to us explaining her family dynamic, asking about photos, and wondered how a private photoshoot might work! We were excited about the opportunity to be able to meet her in Palmilla Los Cabos resort beach.

Her sister lived in Australia, parents in Canada, and she was in Brazil. We wanted to give them something that perfectly resonates with them and the soul of their family bond. We decided to spend quality time with them.

On the day of the session we decided it would be best to capture the grandparents and make them the focal point. Additionally, we wanted to capture the relationship of the girls with their grandparents with the hopes that over time it would show a time lapse of memories.

When you work with families in this way, it always creates something special. We captured genuine moments and nostalgia crept it. While the word nostalgia literally means the pain of an old wound, we believe that the memories created from that session will be cherished forever and by generations to come.
